Looking back at previous Projects

Within my Fashion Imaging & Styling book we look at street styles. Within the street style section i thought it would be good to look at graffiti art and graffiti locations.  Due to the clear link to graffiti with Marc by Marc Jacobs s/s 13 collection i thought it would be helpful to visit some of those pages for added inspiration. 

Graffiti FUN TIME!!!!

Based upon the graffiti feature that has been shown throughout the campaigns and clothing I intend to created a remake of the graffiti piece on my white t-shirts for the shoot. 

Using fabric paints i'm going to create my graffiti on the white t-shirts bought from a online for £3.00 each.. 

I intend to only fabric paint one of the t-shirts in case I want a more simplistic outfit with a plain t-shirt. this allows me to have options when it comes out the photo shoot.

I was really happy with the result of my Graffiti T-shirts I think this represents the s/s 2013 Marc by Marc Jacobs Collection really well. Clear idea of the concept i'm working upon.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Window Display

Marc by Marc Jacobs S/S 2013 campaign is so loud with street graffiti in loudest colors you know. This window display in Bangkok i think emphasis my point about the tragte market. I think with the focus on music (speakers everywhere and mannequins are carrying electric guitar) i think this with bring in a younger traget makret. i like how this window display keeps he elements of the campaign emphasised in the form of loud colors of shocking pink that dominates the view. I like how the graffiti of the brand name has stayed consist throughout the clothing, window displays and campaigns. I think thats a main focus hence the location spot that is used in the campaign images.

Here is another article form the telegraph. Within this we get to know about Marc Jacobs. The relaunch about Marc Jacobs had been invoked after being put as creative director for Diet Coke. This is like a modern day interview if you like. I thought this would be a good way to get an idea of his thought process and his ideas behind his collections etc.
