Drapping on the stand!

Here are my drappings on the stand

I wanted to drape my fabric on the stand in order to it sits on the figure. This was also a good way to be able to design how I want to make my skirts. Therefore i started to Tack pins and into place. For the yellow skirt I had a pattern than i could use to make the skirt and then i would just need to add the front piece with the volume coming from the waist. Whereas the blue skirt was much more free flowing and would be near impossible for me to create a pattern for it therefore i used tailor chalk to mark out the place for stitching and worked from there. When I start to sew I will check back to the mannequin in order to see how it is coming along.
