Branding awareness


I think the Marc by Marc Jacobs collection 2013 s/s  is focusing primarily on 18-30 as the style is very vibrant, young and playful however the target market is of a customer with a certain amount of money that can afford these garments. Typically I think Marc By Marc Jacobs target market is between 24-35 but just because of how bright and fresh this season is I don’t think that would attract the slightly older markets. 

Marc Jacobs however is an older target market mainly because of the difference in price- Marc Jacobs brand is more expensive therefore making this brand exclusive to the catergory of people that can afford this luxury. I think the Marc jacobs brand is visoned as slightly more sophisticated and classic possibly brought on by the price but espically by the quality I think their target market is aimed more at 30-45 with the exception of under 30's with disposable income, inheritance etc... I also intend to look at the celebirty endorsements that are involved with both brands.
