When Stylist Magazine planned to shoot colourful, floaty chiffon
dresses, Georgina Scarbrough's selection – the abandoned, graffiti emblazoned ampitheatre ‘Fiesta
Club‘ in San Agusti – was an inspired choice. One of Ibiza’s coolest yet
eeriest locations, it provided the perfect juxtaposition of fashion and urban
landscapes.
Alexander Fullerton was the stylist, asssisted by Morag Paterson, while the photographer, Kate Martin, was assisted by Barnaby Newton. Model Valeria Garcia was the perfect otherworldly beauty. Hair and make-up artist Carol Morley created very strong rainbow eyes and afro-esque locks, using make-up by Shu Uemura and hair products by Bumble & Bumble.
Under the blazing Ibiza sun, the kaleidescopic colours of the dresses ‘popped’ against the graffiti and crumbling concrete walls – It looked truly captivating and really expressed the concept of the collection.
I had to include this in my research because of the fabulous location. Even though its extremely unlikely i'm going to be heading to Ibiza to shoot my look book but its good to have an idea of something that would be perfect.- something to compare the rest too.
